Diana Kardia, Ph.D., is the founder and co-owner of Kardia Group and a nationally recognized expert in organizational change and leadership development in academia. Through Kardia Group’s collaborative consulting network, she works with individual educators, professional associations, colleges and universities, and government agencies to provide a diverse array of learning experiences.
Kardia Group specializes in services for research-intensive environments, specific challenges related to STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), and the development of collaborative discussion skills. In 2023, Kardia Group was awarded the Women in Engineering Initiative Award for their signature program, Game Changer Academies for Advancing Research Innovationâ„¢, by the Women in Engineering Proactive Network.
Diana has taught and conducted research in the fields of psychology, education, statistics, and women’s studies and has served in administration leadership roles in higher ed. As a consultant, she specializes in addressing department discord and dysfunction, developing leadership under shared governance conditions, and cultivating collaborative environments that fully benefit from and do justice to our diverse identities and perspectives. With a doctorate in higher education, a master’s degree in statistics, and a graduate certificate in women’s studies, she is a translational scholar dedicated to applying scholarly knowledge and practical expertise to her leadership and consulting.
