Josh Slayton is the Chief Growth Officer of Holmes Corporation, a leading training provider and partner to professional associations, driving growth and member engagement through assessments, professional education, and certification preparation services.
Josh has over 15 years’ experience in the broader education and training industry. His previous roles include President of ECMC Education and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Impact Investing at ECMC Group, where he led strategic planning and founded the $250M Education Impact Fund, and various executive roles at Meritas/LMPS Holdings, a for-profit provider of K-12 education around the world that exited to Nord Anglia in 2015.
Josh has a focus on aligning long-term, end-user impact with growth strategies to scale businesses. His experience in the education and training industry underlies his belief that growth and impact are highly interrelated, with strong efficacy and outcomes leading to long-term value proposition and sustainable growth. He started his career in commercial banking at Merrill Lynch and corporate bankruptcy consulting at FTI Consulting.
Josh has a BBA from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from the University of Michigan. He lives in Minnesota with his wife, four kids, three dogs, and eleven chickens.
