Kristin Jones is the Director of Education Programs at the Disability Management Employer Coalition (DMEC), where she oversees the strategic development, management, and delivery of DMEC’s educational initiatives, including microcredential courses designed to help employers stay compliant with rapidly evolving leave laws. With more than a decade of experience in human resources and training, Kristin’s background includes serving as a human resources (HR) manager in the manufacturing sector, where she managed comprehensive HR programs and complex leave management processes. She has been with DMEC since 2017.
Kristin, who has extensive expertise in HR with practical insights into disability and absence management, is a lifelong learner. She is a certified leave management specialist (CLMS), a certified professional in human resources (PHR), and a SHRM certified professional (SHRM-CP).Her experience has made her a pivotal force with DMEC’s innovative education offerings. Kristin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in communications from Missouri State University and is committed to empowering professionals with relevant, state-specific, and accessible training that addresses the demands of today’s compliance-driven landscape.
