Spark Joy and More Revenue: How to Mari Kondo Your Learning Content
A Session by Nancy Bacon (CEO, Nancy Bacon Consulting)
About this Session
Less is more, and yet so many learning businesses have Web sites and learning portals filled with content. Years of Webinars, white papers, and job aids available 24/7 are perceived to solve learners’ every challenge. In reality, they often create a sense of overwhelm or confusion because so many of the materials are dated.
In this session, we’ll anchor ourselves in the first step of a learning strategy by asking two questions: What are you trying to achieve as a learning business? What are your learners trying to achieve in their day-to-day work?
The answers to these questions underpin your larger learning strategy. They guide what kind of learning experiences and tools you need in what form. They inform what learning content to keep, what to toss, and what gaps exist that need to be filled. By the end of this session, you’ll have a system to decide how to build a learning content portfolio that your learners will value—and buy.
